Symphonia Academica Make A Return To The Three Rivers Music Society

Symphonia Academica, the resident string Ensemble of Anglia Ruskin University, is delighted to be making its return to the Three Rivers Music Society in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

Symphonia Academica is delighted to be returning to the Three Rivers Music Society in Rickmansworth with a programme of music featuring women composers.

Doreen Carwithen's beautiful first string quartet will be twinned with Fanny Mendelssohn's quartet, a neglected masterpiece.

Also on the programme are works for oboe by Benjamin Britten, his delightful Phantasy Quartet, and another neglected masterpiece, the Oboe Quintet by Sir Arthus Bliss. The concert will include a pre concert talk.
