Ania Ullmann viola SA4 string quartetAnia Ullmann

Ania Ullmann studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Csaba Erdelyi & Jack Glickman.

Ania was a founder member of the McCapra String Quartet with whom she toured extensively throughout the UK, performing for most of the major music societies. The quartet also toured Europe, and enjoyed a two year residency in Aldeburgh. They recorded Malcolm Arnold's string quartets for Chandos and the complete quartets of Edmund Rubbra.

Ania remains a passionate chamber musician as a member of several chamber ensembles.

Ania now plays with many of the country's leading orchestras, including the BBC Symphony orchestra and the BBC Concert orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, Academy of St Martin in the Fields and the Philharmonia orchestra.
